A beautiful villa in fantastic, extensive gardens with a lovely pool, cleaned every morning by Paolo. Great views over the countryside, lots of areas to sit and relax. Everything went well, we had a super week with our family.

We had a great stay and would happily recommend this Airbnb. The location was excellent, with Mondavio less than a 10-minute walk away. There are plenty of nearby towns and villages with great restaurants and bars, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. The pool area was a real highlight—well maintained, relaxing, and ideal for unwinding after a day out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Villa con giardino ben curato con diverse varietà di fiori e piante.Piscina magnifica ,vista ampia sulle colline,a 10 minuti a piedi dal villaggio.Posto ideale per calma e tranquillità.L’interno della casa è ben ristrutturato con bagni nuovi e una cucina ben equipaggiata.Forse sarebbe da rinnovare in alcune stanze l’arredamento.Molto cordiali ,discreti e ospitali i proprietari Paolo e sua moglie,sempre disponibili per qualunque necessità.Senz’altro da ritornarci ;inoltre il Signor Paolo è esperto e produttore di eccellente olio di oliva .

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 weeks here with our 3 young kids. The property is peaceful and lush with trees and plants with great outdoor spaces. Paolo and his family are friendly and helpful (Paolo makes delicious olive oil from the trees surrounding the property). Mondavio is a beautiful little village with views all around. We enjoyed our walks up the hill to town and dining outside under the trees with a view of the sea. We explored the surrounding area and there’s plenty to see and do from the beach to the mountains to nearby charming villages. You can also walk right out the door on miles of quiet gravel roads in the surrounding hills. Would love to visit again!

Was soll ich sagen?
Es ist ein traumhafter Urlaub gewesen.
Wir waren zu 6 Personen und 3 Hunden in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft.
Wir sind alle immer noch total begeistert.
Es ist eine mit viel Liebe und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattete Villa. Die Lage mit dem atemberaubenden Ausblick, der tolle Pool, der umzäunte Garten der kurze Weg in den kleinen wunderschönen Ort Mondavio einfach genial.
Wir haben 3 Restaurant in Mondavio ausprobiert und bei allen hat es typisch italienische Küche gegeben, lecker.
Zum Meer und den angrenzenden Städte ist es auch nicht weit für uns ein idealer Ort um sich zu erholen und dennoch etwas unternehmen zu können.
Abgerundet wird das ganze von den Gastgebern, lieben Dank auch dafür und für das tolle Olivenöl.
So haben wir ein bisschen Italien mit nach Hause nehmen können.

Wir waren da in 2017 und 2018 und 2022 und 2023 und 2024 und haben für 2025 gebucht, sagt doch alles. Wir fahren hin und sind daheim. 2 families (4 adults and 5 children) had a lovely stay at Villa Azzurra! The property has a wonderful location with magnificent view of the Italian countryside and a short troll into the small center of Mondavio. Several lovely restaurants. The owners were very attentive to our needs and answered quickly if we had questions. The house was very clean and well equipped. The outdoor area and swimmingpool was perfect for summer fun! Would definitely book this house again!

An lovely villa with beautiful garden and pool. We especially appreciated cooking on the wonderful range cooker in the lovely country kitchen as well as eating our dinners and lunches on the patio with a breath taking view. Our host and family were friendly and helpful. One can walk to the small and cute town of Mondavio (although a steep uphill walk) and enjoy a gelato or an aperativo. There are other places to visit not far from Mondavio - but we were quite happy just staying at the house and lounging by the pool (was was cleaned every morning). Can highly recommend!

The villa was the best we rented during our 3 week marche trip. Very nice pool in lovely gardens and quiet position. Covered terrace with gas BBQ.
The house is more or less divided in 2 appartments (although you rent it as one. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms a comfortabel living room and a small, but well equiped kitche. The bedrooms have AC.
Downstairs is a larger kitchen but smaller living room, 2 bedrooms (one woth bunk beds) but these bedrooms do not have AC. But downstairs has the patio with BBQ. Both living rooms have radiators and a fireplace.
Owners only speak italian.
Walking distance to town.
Dogs were allowed on request for an extra fee of € 50 per dog.

Es war ein wunderbares Woche mit meine Familie (8 Erwachsenen & 2 kleine kinder in Villa Azzurra. Paulo & sein Frau waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Dass Haus war sehr sauber & gepflegt, ausgestattet mit alles (und mehr) was man braucht. Der sehr sauber gepflegte Pool haben wir genossen,
und kein Angst mit unser kleinen kinder, da es eingezäunt war, mit eingangs Tür. 100% zum empfehlen.

We enjoyed our stay in villa Azurra in Modavio! I would like to say "il paradiso" because it felt like heaven!
The beautiful garden,the quitness,the view it was really fantastic!
A porch with a big table where we could eat with 10 persons and in the evening a nice place to relax.
The swimmingpool with enough deckchairs was everyone's favourite! The children too where so enthusiastic!
The owners where very kind and willing to help! It was awesome!

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in der Villa Azzura zu Gast. Wieder war es eine unvergessliche Zeit und wir haben es sehr genossen. Paolo und Masha sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber und wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und auch sonst war alles tiptop. Wir haben bereits fürs nächste Jahr gebucht. Was wir noch sehr schön fanden, dass das obere Badezimmer komplett renoviert wurde, das war schon ein Highlight.

This lovely villa with a large pool and a huge garden is nested within the Merlaro Olive Agritourismo on the side of the hill, on which the beautiful town of Mondavio resides.

The owners are very kind and brought us fresh cherrys and coupons for nearby restaurants.
The well maintained villa offers everything you need and evenings on the terrace with the large gas-bbq are as enjoyable as in on of the excellent nearby restaurants, which are hard to decide for which is the best of them.

We much appreciated the view from the villa and Mondavio, which is really amazing - overlooking the rolling hills of the marche region with a glimps of the ocean in the distance on clear days.

To the oceanside it's a 45 Minutes drive (Fano) but we didn't really need the beaches whith thousands of umbrellas one next to another, which is typical for italian beaches. The large pool with its large relaxing area had more than enough space for several people to swim, relax and even hold a pool volleyball tournament :)

All in all we had an amazing experience in this villa and I would 100% recommend it, espacially for groups and families.

Wir hatten das große Glück unseren Urlaub in der Villa Azzura verbringen zu können. Paolo und seine Frau Masha waren hervorragende Gastgeber!!! Das Haus war früher ein altes Bauernhaus und wurde sehr schön modernisiert. Die Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock haben Klimaanlage. Beide Küchen haben eine Spühlmaschine und sind gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist ein Traum und besticht durch eine sehr schöne Bepflanzung. Der Pool
wird täglich vom Paolo gereinigt und ist wirklich toll und sauber. Sonnenschirme und Liegen sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben direkt für nächstes Jahr gebucht.

Die Villa ist sehr sauber und mit einer schöne Ausstattung. Sie ist an einem wunderschönen, traumhaften und sehr ruhiger Ort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe, daher ist die Villa sehr bequem. Der Pool und die Umgebung war eine Oase. Paolo und seine Frau sind sehr zuvorkommende und gute Gastgeber. Was für ein traumhaftes Haus! Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub am Fuße von Mondavio verbracht. Das Haus ist ausgezeichnet und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Alles ist blitzsauber und reichlich vorhanden. Und Grundstück und Pool sind fantastisch. Hinter dem Haus bringt uns ein Fußweg in 5 Minuten ins Zentrum von Mondavio. Brot holen und Kaffe auf dem Marktplatz trinken. Besser kann ein Tag nicht beginnen. Obendrein sind Paolo und Marcia sehr gastfreundlich und behilflich. Und zum schönen Strand von Fano (Tip: Prima Secca) ist es eine knappe halbe Stunde. Mondavio ist auch eine gute Ausfallsbasis für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Eins ist sicher: wir kommen wieder.

Your house is one of the best I have been rented.
The guality of the pool, garden, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are great.
The Gas barbecue was very good to have.
If I should come with some inputs: 2 bathrooms is maybe too little for 8-10 persons.
And it should be great if the contactpersons could speak some english.

Wir, 6 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder, 1Baby und 2 Hunde, haben 2 schöne Ferienwochen im liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus auf einem riesigen traumhaften Grundstück verbracht. Der Pool war grandios und wurde von uns täglich genutzt. Gereinigt wurde er täglich, merkten wir aber nur, wenn wir mal früher aufgestanden sind. Wir wurden von Paolo und Mascha sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Man konnte die Eigentümer jederzeit telefonisch erreichen und bei Bedarf war Paolo sehr schnell vor Ort. Vielen Dank dafür. Die Villa selbst ist sehr großzügig gebaut, so dass sich jeder bei Bedarf zurückziehen konnte. Aber eigentlich waren wir meistens draußen. Mondavio ist ein sehr reizvoller Ort mit kleiner Festung. Man konnte gut und preiswert essen gehen. . Vielen Dank liebe Mascha und lieber Paolo, es war toll bei euch.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, das Haus ist sehr schön, viel Platz genau wie auf den Fotos. Der Pool ist der Hammer ,wir haben fast jeden Tag zu 8 Wasserball spielen können. Riesiges Grundstück auf dem sich die Hunde austoben konnten und alles eingezäunt ,einfach top. Super Aussicht und die ca. 6 Minuten bis in den Ort waren zwar anstrengend aber trotzdem schön. Die Betreuung vor Ort von Paolo und Mascha war sehr nett und immer freundlich.
Die Umgebung kann man gut mit dem Auto erfahren oder eben spazieren gehen, also uns hat es sehr gefallen und nochmal Danke.

Wir waren nun bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Villa Azzurra und es war wieder sehr schön. Alles blitzsauber und genau so wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Die Villa liegt ruhig und man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß im schönen Mondavio mit seinen kleinen Geschäften und sehr guten Restaurants. Man kann bei einem leckeren Espresso auf der Piazza sitzen oder mit einem super leckeren italienischen Eis in der Hand die alte Festung erkunden.

Wir hatten das Glück über Ferragosta dort zu sein. Es gab ein wunderschönes dreitägiges, mittelalterliches Fest mit einem Feuerwerk an zwei Abenden.

Die Vermieter, Paolo und Marcia waren bei Fragen stets zur Stelle und haben sich täglich um Pool und Anlage gekümmert. Dabei waren sie fast unsichtbar wie die Heinzelmännchen. Ihnen einen großen Dank dafür.

Beautiful old villa with a gorgeous garden and pool
The villa was everything we expected and more. We had an amazing view from the patio on the rolling hills outside Mondavio. Within a 10 min walk there are a couple of nice restaurants in the historic centre of Mondavio. The surroundings are nice and quiet. The hosts were very nice and were at our disposal within 5 mins if we needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay!

Sehr schönes Steinhaus auf einem großen, gepflegten Grundstück mit vielen Bäumen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und stilvoll mit alten Möbel eingerichtet. Netter, sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Sehr erholsamer Urlaub unterhalb eines schönen Ortes. Jederzeit wieder :-) Very nice stone house on a large, landscaped grounds with lots of trees. The house is very well equipped and stylishly furnished with old furniture. Nice, very helpful owner. Very relaxing holiday nearby a beautiful little town.

Un petit coin de paradis
Paolo et son épouse nous ont bien accueillis et conseillés sur les endroits à visiter. La villa est bien entretenue et ne manque de rien, elle est très proche du centre de Mondavio que l'on peut rejoindre à pied en quelques minutes et où se trouvent une boulangerie ouverte tous les jours et quelques restaurants. La piscine est très agréable et le jardin très bien entretenu et est parfaite pour qui veut se reposer en toute tranquillité et en même temps proche de la mer (+/- 25 km) et de villes historiques telles que Corinaldo, Urbino... Bref, un séjour enchanteur dans un petit coin de paradis. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Traumhaft!
Wir, 6 Erwachsene, 1 Kleinkind und ein Hund, durften zwei wundervolle Wochen in der "Villa Azzurra" verbringen. Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet, mit einer traumhaften Aussicht und einem super Pool. Wir fühlten uns schnell wie Zuhause. Danke an die Vermieter, die immer nach dem Rechten gesehen haben und sogar einmal einen Krob voll frischer Eier, wohl von den benachbarten Hühnern, vorbeigebracht haben. Wir sind sehr erholt wieder nach Hause gekommen und werden sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal Urlaub in der Villa Azzurra gemacht haben.

Sehr gepflegtes Haus
Wir durften zwei wunderschöne entspannte Wochen in diesem gepflegten Haus verbringen. Wir haben alles sauber und so wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos gezeigt vorgefunden. Der eingezäunte Aussenbereich ist ideal für Urlauber mit Hunden. Die Eigentümer sind sehr herzlich und jederzeit gerne hilfsbereit. Hierfür ein besonderes Dankeschön. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und werden Villa Azzurra gerne im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis weiterempfehlen. Liebe Grüße an Paolo, seine Frau und Kater "Gonzo". Excellent villa, wonderful stay.
We stayed for a week at the end of August 2016. Paolo the owner was very helpful (his English is very limited so a phrase book would help). The property is very well appointed and good sized rooms. The kitchen and bathrooms were all lovely and in full working order. The pool and outdoor space is wonderful and the views spectacular. The town is only a short walk but up a steep hill. Be sure to wear mosquito repellent as there are a lot of them about in Italy. I would highly recommend this villa and would return. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Schönes Haus / Nice Villa
Sehr schönes Steinhaus auf einem großen, gepflegten Grundstück mit vielen Bäumen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und stilvoll mit alten Möbel eingerichtet. Netter, sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Sehr erholsamer Urlaub unterhalb eines schönen Ortes. Jederzeit wieder :-) Very nice stone house on a large, landscaped grounds with lots of trees. The house is very well equipped and stylishly furnished with old furniture. Nice, very helpful owner. Very relaxing holiday nearby a beautiful little town.

La nostra esperienza è stata positiva sotto ogni aspetto
Paolo e Mascia, i proprietari del casale, sono stati molto amichevoli e all’ascolto e ben tre volte Paolo ci ha portato verdure e uova fresche di sua produzione ! La casa è arredata molto bene e la piscina è meravigliosa quando la temperatura sale oltre i 35 gradi. Il giardino circostante è tenuto perfettamente. La zona intorno a Mondavio è molto ricca di belle case, di paesaggi incantevoli, di prodotti agricoli di qualità (ottimi i vini locali !), e di ristoranti di ottimo livello. La vicinanza del mare e di bellissimi posti nella natura fa di questa casa un luogo perfetto per chi ama semplicemente vivere momenti gradevoli e riposarsi. Grazie !

Very nice place and owner
A great place. Paolo the owner, even if he speaks only italian, welcomed us very warmly offering us local specialties. A short walk from the house, the historic center of Mondavio with lots of restaurants. During our stay, we spent a wonderful evening in this beautiful medieval village, we remember with great pleasure, in particular, the historical celebration of "Caccia al cinghiale" (wild boar hunting). We recommend this place to all nature, peace and Marche region lovers. We hope to be back soon. Großartiges Ort. Paolo der Besitzer, auch wenn er nur Italienisch spricht, begrüßte uns sehr herzlich mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Ein kurzer Spaziergang führt zur Altstadt von Mondavio wo sich viele Restaurants befinden. Während unseres Aufenthaltes verbrachten wir wunderschöne Abende in diesem schönen mittelalterlichen Dorf, wir erinnern uns mit großer Freude, insbesondere an der historischen Feier der "Caccia al cinghiale" (Jagd auf Wildschweine). Wir empfehlen diese Immobilie an alle Liebhaber der Natur, Ruhe und der Region Marche. Wir hoffen, bald wiederkommen

Herzlich empfangen
Es war das erste mal Und wir hatten mit der Villa mit ihren Partnern einen Volltreffer gelandet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen - es stand in der Küche neben Eiern, Öl, Milch auch ein Kuchen zum Empfang bereit. Das Haus ist in einem Top Zustand, sauber, sehr großzügig und liegt auf einem Hügel mit Blick in eine zauberhafte Landschaft. Haus und Garten sind sehr gepflegt, vom ersten Eintreten auf das Grundstück und in die Villa fühlt man sich sehr wohl und wie zuhause.

Fantastic place!
We think this place is absolutely fantastic. Great pool. Very clean. Very wide beautiful views. Beautiful garden with a lot of flowers. The Family is very correct and helpfull with everything. The surroundings offer al lot of romantic old village centers with great panorama's and tipical restaurants. We can recommend this villa to everybody that wants a "different" peaceful holiday.

Very nice place
It is a very nice place to relax, to explore the surroundings of the Marche. Our holiday was excellent. The property is very clean, very well maintained. The owners are very friendly and nice, they help you with any kind of questions. I would definitely recommend this property to friends because I am sure they'll have a warm welcome like we had.
